Scooter 250 EC is a broad-spectrum systemic triazole fungicide containing difenoconazole for preventative and curative control of a wide range of diseases in crops.
Introduction
Scooter 250 EC is a
broad-spectrum foliar fungicide. It is systemic, moving upwards in plants.
As a foliar fungicide spray, Scooter 250 EC controls a wide
range of pathogens, including rusts, powdery mildew, fruit scab, and other leaf spots. It may be used on ornamentals. It has low application
rates, and excellent residual action.
Flexible timing of application and curative activity makes Scooter 250 EC particularly suited to integrated approaches to disease control
for application where forecasting or disease warning systems are used.
Scooter 250 EC offers the
following features:
Formulation
Scooter 250 EC is formulated as
an emulsifiable concentrate containing 250 g/l of the active ingredient
difenoconazole. It can be readily mixed with a range of partners.
Spectrum of activity
Scooter 250 EC can be used in a
wide range of crop/disease situations.
Mode of action
The active ingredient difenoconazole is a triazole that interferes with
the biosynthesis of sterols which are key structural components in the fungal
cell membrane, blocking demethylation, causing membrane disruption, and
stopping fungal development.
Difenoconazole is rapidly absorbed into vegetative parts of plants and is systemically distributed upwards through the plant via the xylem. The systemic activity of SCOOTER 250 EC gives good curative properties and excellent protection from infection.
